Arthur Hill is the editor and publisher of TD Trader, which has
been active since 1996. His
passion for trading and market analysis began while working at Oppenheimer &
Co. Inc. in Houston, Texas. He has been a student and practitioner of technical analysis
for over 20 years with considerable experience in its application to various markets. In
addition to his technical analysis and trading experience, Mr. Hill brings a broad and
diverse background to market analysis. Notable achievements include:
- 2004: Developed a Relative
Strength Rating system for Indices, Sectors, Industry Groups
and Stocks. This is regularly featured in
commentaries.
- 2003: Taught module on "Momentum,
Momentum Oscillators and Volume" for Society
of Technical Analysts (STA) diploma course at the London
School of Economics.
- 2002: Taught modules on "Momentum,
Momentum Oscillators and Volume" and Candlesticks for Society
of Technical Analysts (STA) diploma course at South Bank
University London.
- 2001: Published "Double Bottom
Confirmation Strategy" in Feb-2001 issue of Technical
Analysis of Stocks and Commodities.
- 1999-2001: Chief Technical
Analyst, Stockcharts.com
- Wrote most of the site's Chart School and glossary as well
as a daily market commentary and weekly stockwatch articles.
- 1996-1999: Editor of TD
Trader, a web based publication specializing in technical
analysis of US equity markets.

(STA London) diploma exam.
